Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP

The Cisco Certified Network Professional® (CCNP) curriculum provides a career oriented, comprehensive coverage of enterprise-level networking skills, including advanced routing, switching and troubleshooting, while providing opportunities for hands-on practical experience and soft-skills development.

In particular CCNP holders have complete WAN knowledge and most industries need professionals of this nature. In today’s world of convergence, where WAN technologies are everywhere, Cisco is the natural and most popular choice.

CCNP training provides important knowledge and skills on infrastructure, which is the backbone of communication. The CCNP gives in-depth knowledge of the different technologies available.

  • The CCNP consists of three modules which are delivered with flexible start dates to suit your individual circumstances. The CCNP will start as soon as you enrol on to any one of the three courses and will last approximately 6 months.

    CCNP ROUTE: Implementing IP Routing

This course teaches you how to implement, monitor, and maintain routing services in an enterprise network. You will learn how to plan, configure, and verify the implementation of complex enterprise LAN and WAN routing solutions, using a range of routing protocols in IPv4 and IPv6 environments. The course also covers the configuration of secure routing solutions to support branch offices and mobile workers. Comprehensive labs emphasise hands-on learning and practice to reinforce configuration skills.

    CCNP SWITCH: Implementing IP Switching

This course teaches you how to implement, monitor, and maintain switching in converged enterprise campus networks. You will learn how to plan, configure, and verify the implementation of complex enterprise switching solutions. The course also covers the secure integration of VLANs, WLANs, voice, and video into campus networks. Comprehensive labs emphasise hands-on learning and practice to reinforce configuration skills.

CCNP TSHOOT: Maintaining and Troubleshooting IP Networks

This course teaches you how to monitor and maintain complex, enterprise routed and switched IP networks. You will learn skills including the planning and execution of regular network maintenance, as well as support and troubleshooting using technology based processes and best practices, based on systematic and industry recognised approaches. Extensive labs emphasise hands-on learning and practice to reinforce troubleshooting techniques. CCNP ROUTE and CCNP SWITCH are both prerequisites for this course.

This training course uses both conventional and non-traditional techniques. It utilises small group and facilitated plenary discussions as well as instruction to explore key concepts, models, tools and techniques. Hands-on exercises and case studies are used to practice the application of knowledge and use of skills. Structured reviews provide the opportunity to consider how the learning can be applied to the delegates’ own work.
